APOGEE P2 Equipment Scheduler Overview

The APOGEE P2 Equipment Scheduler enables you to define and view APOGEE zones and events in your building system, which you can then schedule.

Zones are the building resources (room, floor) that you can schedule. Events are the activities in your building that place demands on the zones.

You can also use the Equipment Scheduler to optimize a zone. By using Start/Stop Time Optimization (SSTO) logic, you can conserve energy by starting heating or cooling as late a possible prior to occupancy and stopping heating or cooling as early as possible prior to vacancy.

For APOGEE P2 devices and points, you can use the Equipment Scheduler to do the following:

  • create, modify, and delete zones and event definitions
  • override event and zone schedules
  • enable and define Start/Stop Time Optimization (SSTO) for zones
  • copy schedules between events or zones
  • globally add special assignments for day shifts and replacement days
  • view schedules on the Timeline Viewer
