Determining the Allowed Customization Level

The customization level determines at what level of the Libraries hierarchy (L2-Region, L3-Country, or L4-Project) the libraries or library elements which you customize are placed. For background information, see Customization Levels.

  • You are trained and authorized to work with system libraries.
  • System Manager is in Engineering mode.
  1. In System Browser, select Management View.
  1. Select Project > System Settings.
  1. Select the Extended Operation tab.
  • The Customization Level property (Project, Country, or Region) indicates the level at which customized libraries and library elements will be placed.

NOTE: For project engineers, the customization level is set to Project and is read-only. This means that all customized libraries and elements will be placed under Libraries > L4-Project.
