Importing the APOGEE BACnet Database

There are two ways to get APOGEE BACnet data into the management platform—you can import it, or you can discover it. It is recommended that you use the import method since it is faster and preserves standard alarm priorities. Once the migration data has been imported, you can use the discovery method to maintain the system. However, before you import the panel data, you must prepare the management platform to accept the data.

The management platform installs without BACnet drivers or networks defined, so you must add them as needed, and then you must link your networks with your drivers. This section will help you do that.
