Configuring Managed Meters
Scenario: You want to integrate managed meters into the management platform and associate these meters to aggregator nodes in views.

Prerequisites:
- You have installed the Managed Meters extension and added it into a project using the SMC.
- You have assigned application rights to the Managed Meters.
- System Manager is in Engineering mode.
- System Browser is in Application View.
Steps:
1 – Create Notification Profiles
- Select Applications > Energy And Power > Notification Profiles.
- The Notification Profiles application displays.
- Click the Notification Profile tab.
- In the Warning Notification section, select the relevant check box to issue a warning message in the event of a meter rollover, negative meter reading, or meter reading displaying 0.
- If you have selected the Meter Roll Over check box, ensure that you specify the warning limit. By default, this field is set to 50% of the maximum meter reading.
- Click Save .
2 – Create Managed Meters
- Select Applications > Energy and Power > Managed Meters.
- Click the Meter Management tab.
- The Meter Management tab refreshes and displays the managed meter fields in the Managed Meter Configuration expander.
- Enter the information in the fields in the General, Classification, and Meter Synchronization sections in Managed Meters Configuration.
- Click Save .
- The managed meter is created and is historized by default to January 1, 1970.
3 – Link Managed Meters with the Nodes
- You have created views with nodes. For information on creating views with nodes, see Creating and Building a User-Defined View. For a generic representation of a layout for managed meters, see Representing the Managed Meters Layout.
- Navigate to the view with the nodes and select the node to which you want to link the managed meter.
- Select Applications > Energy and Power > Managed Meters.
- Drag the managed meter to the respective node in the Views tab and click Save .
- The managed meter is associated with the respective node.
