You can store operating procedures directly in the main Operating Procedures folder, or you can create a structure of subfolders under it to organize your operating procedures.
Select Project > System Settings> Operating Procedures or a [subfolder] under it.
The Operating Procedures tab displays.
Click New.
In the New object dialog box, enter a name and description, and click OK.
The new folder is added to System Browser.
Repeat the preceding steps for any other folders you want to add.
You must configure at least one filter for the operating procedure—otherwise it will never execute.
In the Operating Procedure tab, open the Filters expander. Here you can configure in what situations you want the operating procedure to execute. For details, see Filters of an Operating Procedure.
Do one or more of the following:
In the Time and Organization Mode expander, you can specify any time-dependent pre-conditions of the operating procedure. For details, see Time and Organization Mode Conditions. NOTE: If you do not configure anything here the procedure will always be triggered for the events you specified in the Events expander.
In the Events expander you can specify the combination of events that will trigger the operating procedure. For details, see Events Conditions. NOTE: If you do not configure anything here the procedure will never be triggered.
(Only for Save As) In the Save Object As dialog box: a. Select the main Operating Procedures folder or any subfolder under it. b. Enter a name and description. c. Click OK.
Newly created operating procedures are enabled by default. To disable an operating procedure to prevent it from executing for the time being, see Enabling or Disabling Operating Procedures.
