Creating and Configuring Incident Template
Scenario: You want to configure an incident template to make the system react to events occurring in the system and automatically trigger incidents.

Prerequisites:
- One or more notification templates (message templates or live announcement templates) are configured.
- System Manager is in Engineering mode.
- In System Browser, select Application View.
Steps:
1 – Create Incident Templates
- Select Applications > Notification > Incident Templates.
- The Incident Templates tab displays.
- Click Create .
- The Create New Object dialog box displays.
- From the Child Type drop-down list, select Incident Template and enter a name for the Incident template.
- The name is automatically set as the description in the Description field.
- Click OK.
- The incident template is created and displays in the System Browser.
- Open the Incident Template Trigger expander. Define the trigger rules. For more information, refer to Create an Incident Trigger Rule.
- Click Save .
- The incident template is created.
2 – Configure Incident Templates
- Select Applications > Notification > Incident Templates > [incident template].
- The selected incident template displays in the Primary pane in the Incident Template Editor tab.
- Configure the general settings for the Incident Template in the General Settings expander.
- Associate a notification template to a launch group.
- (Optional) Create an Incident Trigger rule.
- The incident template is created and configured.
3 – Save the Incident Template
- Select Applications > Notification > Incident Templates > [incident template].
- Click Save .
- The incident template is saved.
